Cleaning jewelry with baking soda

We are asked each day what the best way to clean jewelry is. Truth is, there are a few different methods, but one of our favorites is to use something you have in your kitchen--baking soda!

All you have to do is make a paste with baking soda and water, and using a soft cloth or old toothbrush, rub it on the jewelry and then rinse well.

If your jewelry is very tarnished or dirty, you can line a bowl with foil, put a few tablespoons of baking soda and water in, and let your jewelry soak in that before giving it a light scrub.

Baking soda is one of the most gentle things you can use, but also very effective.
